Chile is geographically diverse country situated on the western side of South America. It’s average width is a mere 110 mi/177km, and it’s length extends 2,700mi/4,300km. The north is characterized by coastal desserts and hot weather, the middle has a Mediterranean climate, and in the south you’ll experience subarctic weather (so pack those winter clothes!)
